Walker & Associates has completed comprehensive project management services for the new Maple Grove Hospital, a $138 Million dollar project in the Northwest quadrant of the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.  The hospital will have 90 beds initially, and was designed with both vertical and horizontal expansion capability to bring it to an eventual 300 bed capacity.  The new Hospital is jointly owned by North Memorial Health Care and Fairview Health Services.

The project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget, according to Joe Baran, Walker's Project Manager.  In addition, Walker project managers Nicole Erickson and Kyal Klawitter provided specialized services on the project in the areas of FFE coordination and medical equipment management.

The project is a part of a 27 Acre campus, which includes an Ambulatory Care Center and Medical Office Building.  Walker & Associates, as project manager on this part of the project as well, was brought on to complete the project and coordinate with the new hospital, once the hospital was awarded by the Minnesota Legislature to North Memorial and Fairview.

The campus was designed by BWBR Architects, St. Paul, and D J Kranz of Plymouth was the construction manager.
